What is the difference between counseling & coaching?
Counseling helps you heal the past, while coaching helps you create the future. Counseling focuses on processing emotions, trauma, and mental health concerns in a therapeutic setting. Coaching is forward-moving—supporting you in setting goals, reclaiming confidence, and creating the life you want. Both can complement each other beautifully.
Do you take insurance?
I do not accept insurance, but I am an out-of-network provider. This means you may be able to use out-of-network benefits for reimbursement, depending on your plan. I’m happy to provide a superbill you can submit to your insurance company. In my resource section, you can download my out-of-network benefits worksheet to see if you are eligible.
Do you provide couples or family counseling?
I currently offer individual counseling only. My focus is one-on-one support, though I can provide referrals for trusted couples or family therapists if needed.
Do you only work with widows?
Widow work is my specialty, but I don’t only work with widows. In counseling, I support people facing all types of grief and emotional challenges. In coaching, however, I work exclusively with widows.
Do you provide in-person & virtual sessions?
I offer both in-person sessions in New Jersey and virtual counseling for clients located in NJ and Florida. This flexibility allows you to receive support in the way that feels most comfortable and accessible for you.
How do I join the monthly group, Mending Hearts Widows Group?
To join the Mending Hearts Widows Group, reach out by call, text, or email to complete your registration. Once registered, you’ll receive all the details needed to attend the monthly support circle, held every 1st Wednesday at 7pm EST.

Can I receive counseling and coaching from you?
No, I can’t provide both counseling and coaching to the same person. Doing so would create a dual relationship, which isn’t ethically allowed in counseling. I’ll help you determine which path is the best fit for your needs.
